As is common practice with almost all professional websites, also Help’n’Trade website and Help’n’Trade application use cookies. Therefore we also need to write our cookies policy page. Disabling cookies will usually result in also disabling certain functionality and features of the this site and our application as well. For example one of our cookies enables you to be kept login. If you remove this cookie you will be logged out immediately from our application. Therefore make sure you distinguish between “Required service cookies”, necessary to run the website and application; “Optional service cookies” which extend functionality of the application but we ask you if you want to use it first; and “Optional analytics cookies” which you can prevent from setting with your cookies consent at the landing on the website/application or remove it later in settings.

4.1 Removing your consent

In our application we give you of course the possibility to opt-in or opt-out of analytics cookies. If you initially gave us your consent and choose to remove it in the settings of our application, the cookies won’t be set again. However, you need to delete the remaining cookies from your device manually through your browser settings. Unfortunately there is no other way around it.

Similarly, for our website. If you initially gave us your consent and google analytics cookies are set, you can remove them manually in your browser settings.

5. The Cookies We Set

    jwt cookie is a type of a cookie, which you can not access, nor is it visible to you. However, it is essential for the functionality of the application, as it allows the authenticated user to use our application.
  • io:
    io cookie is a type of a cookie, which you can not access, nor is it visible to you. However, it is essential for the functionality of the application, as it enables authenticated user to receive notifications and messages.

However, it is essential for the functionality of the application, but especially for user experience, as it enables loadbalance traffic on our application and make sure your traffic is associated only with one server at a time, while serving our application.

5.2. Optional Service Cookies (webapplication https:// only)

    When you first land on our application:, you will see a banner informing you about us using cookies. If you decide to click on “ok”, which is optional, you are giving us your consent. We store the information and date of your consent so that we do not have to display you the banner any longer.
  • isSetPrefLang:
    When you first land on our application:, you are asked about your preferred language of use. Which ever language you select, we store this information in your browser to translate the application for you accordingly. Furthermore, the same cookie is used do define your default language when you log in. Once logged in, you can change your language preference in your settings. This will edit the information in the stored cookie as well. Whenever you visit out application again we check whether we find the language preference cookie in your browser. If not, we give you the option to select your preferred language again.
  • policies:
    When you log in into our application: you first need to agree with our terms of service and privacy policies. The policies cookie stores your consent at the moment you log in. Therefore, you do not have to go through those additional steps again, next time you use our application.
  • lastCoordinates & locale:
    When you access our application you are requested by the application to access your location. This enables the trading map to center to your approximate location (not precise location!). If you however do not turn on your location, the lastCoordinates and locale cookie will store the last position you viewed. Therefore, you do not have to go through those additional steps again, next time you use our application. Your view will be on a location you had it last centered on.

5.3. Optional Analytics Cookies (web application and web site

We use Google Analytics which is one of the most widespread analytics solution on the web. It helps us understand how you use our website and our web application. Also, it shows us ways that we can improve your experience. We use website analytics so we understand hidden failures. Especially, those which made you leave our site, but you did not confront us about. Furthermore, we want to continue producing engaging content and so need to learn what works and what not.

The analytics cookies are enabled only once you give us your consent. Clicking on “OK” in the cookie banner will enable the cookie. You can of course delete them in your user settings. Also, they are deleted automatically according to your web browser settings. For example, when you close the window or when you close the browser, etc.

  • cookies_notice_accepted which stores the information if you agreed with the cookies notice banner or not and upon your acceptance of the cookies, trigger google analytics script to be loaded.

6. 3rd party cookies (relevant for Application use only)

Depending on your choice of registering an account on our application additional cookies may be set on your device. For example if you decide to register with an e-mail address, no additional cookies are set, except the ones mentioned above. However, if you register your account using social media authentication like Facebook or Google, additional cookies may be set by these providers, which are not in our control nor do we have exact knowledge on what information these cookies collect or what purpose they serve.

Currently there is no registration on our website and therefore, there are also no 3rd party cookies set if you agree with cookies policy on our website.
